Best Ways to Upcycle Clothes this Winter

I am so creative that I love to imagine, put some ideas and implement. I am creative with everything! Even if it’s about old clothes, then I consider myself first to do something crafty and make them sassy.

What do you do if you have a closet of leftovers?

Well, My friend’s good chunks of money goes to buying new clothes for her kids.

Surprisingly, My Mother get me some beautiful stuff 4-5 times each year. So, what do I do with obsolete swag?

I personally don’t buy new ones! Neither I throw them!

I don’t want to be a contributor to a landfill after all !

I Upcycle them. Well, I am very creative :) I tweak some leftovers, try on my kids and make them classy.

Ways to Upcycle Old Clothes-

  • Men’s shirt to a beautiful girl dress- I personally loved this experiment. My daughter is 8 and I have tried this when she was just 4. Your Men might have leftovers which you can transform them in a sassy way.
You can add some tulle inside the bottom of your men’s shirt and you will get a stunning,         fluffy dress that your girl would love to wear.

  • Winter Sweater Dress- You can make a great winter dress by using 2 sweater leftovers. Trust me! It would take hardly 2 hours to make the best winter outfit. You just need 2 obsolete sweater and stitch them to make a long sweater hoodie. I tried this for myself. My husband always gives me beautiful sweaters every Christmas eve. I never think of throwing them if they are of no use. I put some ideas and end up by making elegant winter dress.

  • Mismatch it all together- This is what I did first, when I first thought of making something creative. I took my husband’s shirt and my daughters high neck sweater. Mixed & matched and I got the perfect winter dress.

Since, I am creative I try every new idea and execute to make something sassy. But That's not only the reason why i Up-cycle them. People have a terrible habit of buying clothes and throw them into trash. I hate this alot. I craft them to make something cool. Even if you can't do so, then I suggest them giving to SwagCycle which is a renown upcycling startup community.
